    Dear Shri Phanindra,
Namaskarams. I am a retired commercial manager (72 years old) having worked with various multi-national companies in UAE, Iraq, and India. I went abroad after working with Voltas. We have completed a turnkey project to the fullest satisfaction of the Iraqi government. I have a small inquiry and please educate me on this.
Hitherto, I was having a Tibcon power capacitor, a capacitor of 1 kvar installed by the Electricity department’s electrician in my residence. After this, I have constructed 2 floors, and I have 3 x 3phase meters and 1 x 1 single-phase meter. Recently I bought 1 no. 4 kvar Tibcon power capacitor for installation in my house, as the power load has increased fourfold and the one installed (1 kvar unit) has fused out. Kindly guide me on whether I can install this 4 kvar capacitor for one of the 3 phase meters. If it is not suitable, kindly guide me as to which unit I should install to contain huge power bills. The load is as follows:
    1. Ground floor: 1 computer, 2 ACs, 2 fridges, 2 TVs, 2 geysers, 9 fans, 2 washing machines, 2 water-lifting motors, 20 to 26 bulb points – 3 phase meter.
    2. 1st floor: 2 computers, 1 AC, 1 fridge, 1 TV, 8 fans, 1 washing machine, 10 bulb points -3 phase meter
    3. 1st floor: 1 fridge, 4 fans, 8 bulb points, 1 geyser, 1 TV – single phase meter
    4. 2nd floor: 2 sewing machines, 10 fans, 1 TV – 3 phase meter
Please guide me in this regard. Your earliest reply is appreciated most.
